This was not my first time dining with Rakuzen. I had tried once or twice of its food from other branches but none of them can compete with this one in Ara Damansara. It is strategically located at Oasis Square, next to the garden in the middle of this food arena. Compared to the other branches of Rakuzen, this one definitely showcased more of a fine dining ambiance and amazing quality of food. I ordered a California Hand Roll as that is my must-have. Besides, i also ordered a Rokkaku Bento for twin sharing.

The second part of Rokkaku Bento

   First of all, the California Hand Roll completely hit the mark of what i call--Perfect Hand Roll. The seaweed wrap was crispy, the filling was moist, well-seasoned and fresh, perhaps one of the best i have ever tasted. Secondly, the huge Rokkaku Bento was equally mind-blowing as well. Every single component inside the bento was perfectly-executed. It consists of a bowl of salad, grilled saba, salmon sashimi on japanese rice, grilled chicken, barbecued scallops, tempura, miso soup, fruits and some small side dishes. My favourite item here has to be the barbecue scallops. They were so juicy and flavorful! This bento is sufficient for twin sharing. Just add an extra bowl of rice if you want to have a more filling meal.

   Overall, I would give Rakuzen, Oasis Ara Damansara an 8 out of 10, simply because it succeeded in giving customers the best dining experience through their skilled execution of food, great service and relaxing ambiance. For those Nippon-food-lovers like me out there, this is another restaurant worth trying in town. Have a great week ahead! xoxo.
